Working on Jobs That I absolutely Hate – But Have Too!
For those of us with a felony conviction, and a family to support, we quickly learn that we are convicted to a life of doing work we just absolutely hate for the sole purpose of getting ourselves back on track and doing what we can to take of our families.
While making money online, doing freelance work and affiliate marketing, has been great for me – today is one of those days where I have to do work I absolutely hate. Because I have children I need to support, I have to do this work to be sure I can give them all of the things they need and want.
I also recently took on the care of a friend and her teenage son. She lost her job and is completely broke. She is about to move in with me because she is losing her house and we are just trying to save her sanity. This friend has never been convicted of any crime and, to be quite honest, she has no idea I have ever been in any legal trouble. Strangely enough, I feel like she can trust me to be the best friend she has ever had but I don’t trust her to be there for me when I’m down and out. As a result, I’ve just never shared this part of my life with her.
In any event, I am still working on the e-books to help those with a felony conviction find work online. I’ll have them out, hopefully, by August. In the meantime, I just wanted to vent and say I really hate the work I’m doing today but I realize it is a must to keep my head above water and face the past with my head held high.
If you are in the same boat, keep your head up and keeping moving forward one step at a time.
