Blog for Money – Use Keywords in Your Blogposts
In our prior blog posts about blogging for money, we mentioned the importance of finding a niche on which to blog. In an effort to locate jobs for felons, we are attempting to educate you on how to make money by blogging since regular and standard employment can be so difficult to find. Once your niche is identified, the next step you will want to take is to research keywords and find those that are highly searched and then use those keyword phrases in your blog post.
For example, if your blog is about football, you will want use a keyword tool, such as Google’s Keyword tool, SEOBook’s keyword tool, or even Wordtracker keyword tool to research keywords that are highly searched. You can “google” any of these phrases to find the sites. Type in the word “football” and you should get a list of two-word and three-word phrases that are highly searched on the Internet. When blogging, try to incorporate those two-word and three-word phrases not only into your blog post but also incorporate, at least, one keyword phrase into your blog post title. In doing so, you are showing the search engines that your content is very niche and highly relevant to that particular topic. Ultimately, in several weeks, this will begin to give your blog some authority in this area of topic and the search engines, including Google, Yahoo and Bing, should begin to rank your blog, organically, within the search results for those same phrases.
And why is organic rank so important? Because studies have shown that more than 80% of all internet searchers will click on the search results that come up naturally when they are searching for a keyword phrase – and few will click on the “sponsored listings” So you want your blog, ultimately, to rank organically for those same keywords as this will drive more traffic and more readers to your site and, in the end, this translates to money as you eventually set up your affiliate codes and work to monetize your blog.
Happy blogging everyone!
