Upromise has an arrangement with McDonalds to give cash back for gift cards purchased online. If you eat at McDonalds, sign up for a free Upromise account. Then, go to Upromise and click on the McDonalds links and purchase online gift certificates with McDonalds. This will give you instant cash back into your Upromise account and then you’ll have the gift certificates to use at your local McDonalds location.
Once the cash back rebate is deposited into your Upromise account, you can either set up your own account to get money placed into a college savings account for use to pay for school in the future, OR, if you have a student loan, connect your student loan account and get the money transferred to make your payment.
Personally, I use my Upromise cash back on dining out and lots of other cash rebates on gift cards. It’s a great way to earn a few dollars back on things I would normally buy anyway. Remember, Upromise is free to sign up and there are tons of ways to earn cash back for school.
